Officiating:
Be Kind to Referees!
Coaches, please direct your fans and your players to never argue with a referee. Instruct your players to thank the referees after each game. Referees are human and we need to treat them with respect even if in your opinion they blow a call. Any players, fans or coaches ejected from a game will be suspended for the remainder of that game and possibly the entire tournament.
Officials have the right to remove coaches, players or parents from a game. If anyone is ejected from a game, it is the tournament committee’s discretion whether the participant or coach will continue in the tournament based on the seriousness of the offense(s).
Official Book: Fouls – teams will always shoot two free throws for common fouls in “bonus” situations. Teams will reach the bonus when their opponent commits five (5) fouls in each quarter rather than seven (7) in a half. Team fouls will reset at the end of each period.
