Please invite all referees, coaches, and players to the Prayer Circle at each game. Prior to tip-off of each game, both teams will gather in a circle at half-court for Scripture reading and prayer. Scriptures for each day will be posted on the score table, so bringing a Bible is not necessary. THE GAME MAY NOT BEGIN UNTIL THE TIME IN THE PRAYER CIRCLE IS COMPLETED.
Your host, the Austin Royals, are excited to celebrate this long held Texas tradition with you! It has been good to greet old friends and meet new faces!!!
As is our custom, both opponents will meet in our traditional Prayer Circle at mid-court to read our Scripture verses and to honor our Lord Jesus Christ in unity through prayer before we compete.
Please don’t forget to invite our referees, coaches, and players to join our prayers as we bless each other and honor our Savior.

VISITOR team will lead a brief prayer of blessings to all
Can your courage endure, or can your
hands be strong, in the days that I shall
deal with you? I the Lord have spoken,
and I will do it.
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty
power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you
can take your stand against the devil’s
schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh
and blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly realms.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber
“Be strong and courageous and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
