Introducing our featured multimedia presentation on Creation Science and Biblical Apologetics by Scott Lane who recently released his first book:

“What if God Wrote the Bible?” 

This opportunity is reflective of the early days of this tournament over three decades ago that included a home school conference component. 

Mr. Lane is one of the hosts of this program. A link to podcasts of this program, as well as a wealth of Mr. Lane’s video seminars are available on SABBSA’s website at www.sabbsa.org, as well as a host of other resources. He is the author of the book “What if God wrote the Bible?”

Who is Scott Lane:

Scott Lane is a retired school teacher who spent 33 years teaching math and science on the secondary level in Texas public schools. He has earned four teaching certifications.  He has both bachelors and master’s degrees in education from Texas A&M University. He spent over 35 years in the study of creation science and biblical apologetics. He has been conferred further certifications in the fields of biblical apologetics and creation science by the International Association for Creation (IAC).

He is married to his wife Brenda with three grown children and nine grandchildren. Most of them live in the San Antonio, Texas area. He is a deacon at Cibolo Valley Baptist Church. 

Scott has also coached for over 40 years compiling over 500 wins in basketball. In eight years as home school coach his team’s compiled over 200 wins. He has been chairman of the Texas Home School State Basketball Championship Steering Committee for the last 6 years. 

He has been the President of the San Antonio Bible Based Science Association (SABBSA) for most of the last twenty years. This ministry has a weekly radio show called “Believing the Bible” which delves into topics of biblical apologetics and creation science heard in twelve U.S. markets and 120 countries.
